HIGHLIGHTS

Actuarial summer intern program supporting pricing, valuation, actuarial modeling and risk management teams. Nine-week paid internship based in Charlotte, NC (or New York, NY) with mentoring, structured trainings, and a final presentation to senior leadership.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Nine-week actuarial internship starting early June 2026
  • Work across Pricing, Valuation, Actuarial Modeling and Risk Management
  • Hourly pay $25/hr; intern housing available for Charlotte/non-local hires
  • Flexible/hybrid schedule: 2–3 days per week in office may be required
  • Present an actuarial project to senior leadership and receive mentorship

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • 1+ actuarial exams (preferred)
  • relevant coursework in math, probability, statistics or data science
  • experience with actuarial topics via coursework or internships (preferred)

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
  • Ability to work the full nine-week internship duration starting early June
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and attention to detail
