Role Summary

HIGHLIGHTS

Actuarial Data Analyst supporting pricing of captives within Ascot’s Portfolio and Alternative Risk Transfer actuarial group in Dallas, TX. You will build and maintain data pipelines, run scripts, and create BI reports using SQL, R, Python and VBA to monitor portfolio health. Hybrid role requiring at least three in-office days per week.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Create exhibits and visualizations for Pricing KPIs using Power BI or Tableau

Suitable for candidates with 2+ years in data analysis or equivalent

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Data pipeline development with SQL, R, and Python
Building data visualizations and exhibits for stakeholders
Analytical Excel experience in a data-focused environment

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of data analyst experience or equivalent
Proficient in SQL, R, Python and VBA
Bachelor's degree with strong academic performance
Experience working with Excel in an analytical environment
Hybrid — in office at least 3 days per week
