Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role because it offers summer exposure across two actuarial departments rather than one defined model ownership track.

Summer 2027 P&C actuarial internship in Fairfield, Ohio, with opportunities in Pricing & Predictive Analytics and Corporate Actuarial. You may support pricing and predictive modelling work using Excel and tools such as R, SQL, or SAS. The role is hybrid where available, based at company headquarters, and pays $25+ per hour.

Requirements

Must have

Collegiate transcripts required with application
Must be able to work up to 40 hours per week; hybrid schedule based in Fairfield, OH
Ability to work in the US without sponsorship (no OPT/CPT)

Strongly preferred

Enrolled as a full-time undergraduate student at an accredited college/university
Major in Actuarial Science, Data Science, Math, Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Finance, or related discipline
Interest in Property and Casualty Insurance
Clear communication, both oral and written
Ability to solve problems systematically and creatively
Work independently and as part of a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (specifically Excel)

Nice to have

Passed at least one actuarial exam
Good academic standing (cumulative GPA 3.0 or higher)
Proficient in at least one of R, SQL, SAS
