JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Lead independent model validation and challenger model development for life and health models
Use ML, time-series, simulation, and predictive modelling to replicate and test models
Deliver validation reports to senior leadership, auditors, and regulators
Hybrid role — in office 4 days per week (San Antonio, TX; other city options listed)
Requires ASA or FSA and 6+ years of model validation/quantitative experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

ASA or FSA from the Society of Actuaries required
6+ years of model validation, model development, or advanced quantitative research
Strong programming skills in R, Python, SAS, Java, C, and/or SQL
Experience with life actuarial modelling and financial risk for health (Medicare Supplement)
Eligible to work in the US without visa sponsorship
