JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead and perform quarterly reserving analyses and presentations to executives
- Conduct loss analytics and identify emerging loss trends with claims and underwriting
- Support GAAP and SAP financial reporting, including actuarial reports and 10-Q/K inputs
- Perform profitability reviews including underwriting year, NPV, and ROE analyses
- Chicago-based senior actuarial analyst role on the Reserving & Loss Analytics team
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Corporate reserving experience
- Knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques and standards
- Familiarity with underwriting, claims and finance operations
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Prior corporate or business-unit reserving experience required
- Sound knowledge of actuarial reserving techniques and standards
- Ability to collaborate with Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, IT and Finance
