JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Perform reserve reviews and prepare related summaries and reports
  • Support IFRS and statutory reserving, including discounting and risk adjustment
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Claims, Reinsurance and Underwriting
  • Work on data preparation, reconciliation and reserving tool enhancements
  • Associate-level role requiring ACAS and 5+ years P&C reserving experience

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • property & casualty reserving
  • surety / program business experience
  • IFRS and statutory reserving experience

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years of property & casualty reserving experience
  • ACAS designation required
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related
  • Demonstrated SQL and VBA programming experience
  • Strong communication skills for technical-to-nontechnical explanations
