HIGHLIGHTS

Senior Director, Medical Economics (Health) leading Total Cost of Care analytics at Strive Health in Chicago. Own the Medical Economics team and deliver cost, utilization, and provider performance insights to inform value-based care program effectiveness. Reports to the VP, Informatics and partners with actuarial, clinical, product, and payer/provider stakeholders.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead Medical Economics team responsible for Total Cost of Care analytics
  • Drive cost containment, utilization analysis, and provider performance measurement
  • Partner with actuarial, clinical, product, and external payers/providers
  • Hybrid role with remote flexibility and on-site/clinic/patient visit requirements
  • Director-level role reporting to the VP, Informatics

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Total Cost of Care analysis and program reporting
  • HCC risk adjustment and quality measures (HEDIS, Stars)
  • Value-based care experience with payers or providers
  • Leadership of analytics teams and direct reports

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative or healthcare-related field required
  • 7+ years progressive experience in healthcare analytics or medical economics
  • 5+ years experience in TCOC analysis, HCC risk adjustment, and quality measures
  • 3+ years experience in value-based care, health plans, or population health
  • Ability to travel and be on-site to meet business needs
