Under the general direction of the Deputy Chief Actuary, the Actuary Supervisor plans, organizes and directs the work of the Valuation Services Unit within the Actuarial Office of the California Public Retirement System (CalPERS). Serves as the subject matter expert, consults on the most complex and sensitive program issues, and may personally perform the most complex and sensitive actuarial work.

Telework Information: This position is eligible for hybrid work schedule, with up to two days of remote work and three days or more onsite, per week.

Must possess an Associateship credential with either the SOA or CAS, or an actuarial organization provided mutual recognition by the SOA or CAS.
Must have three years of actuarial experience while possessing an Associateship credential.
