Entry-level Life actuarial development program based in Richmond, VA (with eligible remote locations). Begin Summer 2026 in a multi-year rotational analyst program focused on building valuation and product skills, actuarial exam progression toward the FSA, and hands-on experience with AXIS, MG-ALFA, and PolySystems.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Summer 2026 start in an 18–30 month rotational Actuarial Development Program
- Work with AXIS, MG-ALFA, PolySystems and large data sets using advanced Excel/programming
- Up to 200 hours study time per six months; exam fees, materials, seminars covered
- Salary increases and bonuses for passing exams (extra bonus for first-attempt passes)
- Location: Richmond or Lynchburg, VA offices, or remote applicants in specified EST/CST states
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- SOA exam (1+) passed
- Previous internship experience, preferably within insurance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Graduating Spring 2026 with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Actuarial Science/Math/Statistics
- At least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam passed
- Minimum GPA 3.2/4.0
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; employer will not sponsor visas
