JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Summer 2026 start in an 18–30 month rotational Actuarial Development Program
  • Work with AXIS, MG-ALFA, PolySystems and large data sets using advanced Excel/programming
  • Up to 200 hours study time per six months; exam fees, materials, seminars covered
  • Salary increases and bonuses for passing exams (extra bonus for first-attempt passes)
  • Location: Richmond or Lynchburg, VA offices, or remote applicants in specified EST/CST states

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • SOA exam (1+) passed
  • Previous internship experience, preferably within insurance

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Graduating Spring 2026 with Bachelor’s or Master’s in Actuarial Science/Math/Statistics
  • At least one Society of Actuaries (SOA) exam passed
  • Minimum GPA 3.2/4.0
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.; employer will not sponsor visas
