Role Summary

Summer actuarial internship on NFP's Property & Casualty actuarial team in Atlanta. The intern will analyze large insurance datasets, build models (e.g., Monte Carlo simulations), and create dashboards and automations using R, Python, SQL, Excel and Power BI. This is a hands-on intern role suited to students pursuing quantitative degrees and interested in P&C pricing and reserving analytics.

Key Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Data Science or related
  • Working knowledge of Excel and at least one of R, Python or SQL
  • Ability to work with large datasets and strong attention to detail
  • Prior coursework or projects involving data analysis or modeling
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
