JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support forecasting, reserving and trend analyses in healthcare actuarial work
- Perform data extraction, validation and analysis using SQL, SAS, VBA and Excel
- Prepare recurring monthly and quarterly actuarial reports and models
- Onsite role — required 4 days per week at Optum office in Eden Prairie, MN
- Entry-level role: 1+ years experience and at least one actuarial exam passed

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Statistics, Economics or related
- Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam (2–3 preferred)
- 1+ years of relevant experience (internship or analytical experience acceptable)
- Foundational knowledge of SQL and/or VBA and strong Excel skills
- Ability to work onsite four days per week in Eden Prairie, MN
