JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing, valuation, experience studies, and financial forecasting for a health plan
- Build and maintain actuarial models and rate studies; assist with regulatory filings
- Work with Network Management, Underwriting, Sales, Marketing and Finance
- Flexible work: Madison, WI HQ hybrid (2 days/week) or remote in approved states
- Ideal for candidates with 2+ years actuarial experience and 2 SOA exams passed
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- health insurance actuarial experience
- experience studies and statistical analyses

- preparation and coordination of rate filings for Commissioner of Insurance
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, statistics, mathematics, or related field
- At least 2 SOA exams completed toward the Associate of the Society of Actuaries
- 2 or more years of actuarial experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and actuarial programming (SQL, R, Python)
- Experience preparing rate filings and reconciling actuarial reports
