JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support pricing, reserving, forecasting and risk adjustment across enterprise health products
  • Prepare rate filings, update rating model factors, and produce actuarial exhibits
  • Work with SQL, SAS, R, Excel, Power BI and Tableau on analytical tasks
  • Participant in the Actuarial Development Program
  • Based in Little Rock, AR (General office worker / campus travel)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Actuarial experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Pricing and reserving analysis
  • Risk adjustment and forecasting
  • Experience with SQL, SAS and R

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three (3) successfully completed Society of Actuaries exams
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent exam substitution as noted
  • Minimum 1 year of actuarial experience, preferably in healthcare
  • Proficiency with relational databases and statistical packages (SQL, SAS, R)
  • Experience with Excel, Access VBA, Power BI or Tableau
