JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support pricing, reserving, forecasting and risk-adjustment for enterprise health products
  • Analyze data, prepare rate filings, and produce reports for enterprise decision-makers
  • Work with R, SAS, SQL, Excel and Power BI for data analysis and reporting
  • Associate-level role requiring 3 SOA exams and 1+ years actuarial experience
  • Participate in the Actuarial Development Program and meet reporting deadlines

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Actuarial experience (1+ years)
  • Experience with relational databases and SQL
  • Experience with statistical packages (SAS, R) and spreadsheets
  • Experience preparing rate filings and actuarial model data retrieval

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum three (3) Society of Actuaries exams completed
  • Minimum one (1) year of actuarial experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (or 2 SOA exams may substitute)
  • Intermediate experience with relational databases, statistical packages, and spreadsheets
