Associate-level life actuarial analyst supporting calculation, analysis and reporting for life insurance and annuity processes. You will maintain and enhance Excel/Access calculation tools, prepare and validate data, and communicate results to stakeholders. Based in West Des Moines, IA (US), with regular onsite attendance expected.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support life insurance and annuity actuarial calculations and reporting
- Maintain and enhance Excel/Access spreadsheets and VBA macros
- Prepare and validate data, generate reports and perform reasonableness checks
- Manage projects and participate in special actuarial initiatives
- Onsite role with regular attendance expected
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Data analytics experience
- Life insurance or annuities experience (preferred)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2–3 years' experience in data analytics
- Proficiency with Excel and Access; familiarity with VBA/macros
- Bachelor's degree preferred (Math, CS, Business or equivalent)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and communication ability
- Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship
