Role reports to an Actuarial Regional Manager and includes exam study support and mentorship.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Maintain and enhance medical margin models for monthly close and forecasting
  • Analyze drivers of prior period development for Medicare Advantage results
  • Prepare audit documentation and present close results to Market Finance leadership
  • Support payer contract cash settlements and Business Development with actuarial inputs
  • Fully remote role (US) with SOA exam study hours and actuarial mentorship

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • IBNR reserve development and forecasting

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–4 years relevant actuarial experience in insurance, consulting, or managed care
  • 2+ actuarial exams passed
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Economics, or related field
  • Experience analyzing medical claims and healthcare financials
  • Proficient in SQL and Excel
