Entry-level Health actuarial role with Medica’s Actuarial Services team in Minnetonka, Minnesota, with an option to work from Madison, Wisconsin. You’ll support pricing, forecasting, reserving, financial reporting, data analysis, and regulatory work while collaborating with Finance, Underwriting, and Product Development. The role requires a bachelor’s degree and one SOA exam.

Requirements

Must have

No work visa sponsorship available; must be legally authorized to work in the US

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or related field
0-1 years of experience beyond degree
Successful completion of 1 SOA exam

Nice to have

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with SQL, SAS, R, or Python
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
