Regulatory actuarial review

Closer to regulatory compliance than a carrier-side pricing role because the work evaluates company submissions rather than supporting live insurance deals.

Associate-level actuarial role with the New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance in Trenton. You will perform regulatory actuarial work across life, health, and property & casualty insurance, including reserve valuation, financial analysis, and review of rates, rules, and forms.

Requirements

Must have

  • 4 years of professional actuarial experience, or bachelor's degree with 12 credits in math/stat
  • ASA or ACAS credential
  • Compliance with Academy of Actuaries continuing education requirements

Strongly preferred

  • Experience in valuation of reserves, financial analysis, rate review for life/health or P&C
