Client-facing reinsurance advisory

Closer to client-facing consulting than a modelling-heavy IC role because broker and client interaction is a defined part of the analyst experience.

Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in reinsurance, based in New York, NY or Edina, MN. You’ll complete standard and advanced analyses, work with reinsurance contracts and data, and present findings to brokers and clients. The role suits candidates with a bachelor’s degree, 0–2 years of experience, and an interest in actuarial exams, programming, and client-facing advisory work.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university with a 3.5 or higher graduating GPA
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States

Strongly preferred

  • 0-2 years of (re)insurance industry experience
  • Strong aptitude for analysis, database management and programming skills
  • Minor in computer science or at least 2 programming classes strongly preferred
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree is a plus
  • Actuarial exam(s) are a plus
  • Prior Actuarial Internship experience is a plus
