Entry-level Health actuarial analyst role in Grand Rapids, Michigan, supporting pricing, financial forecasts, IBNR estimates, provider risk arrangements, and strategic analysis. You will work with business partners across underwriting, provider, pharmacy, product, finance, and data analytics while learning under more senior actuaries.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science or related discipline
  • Proficiency in spreadsheet software (preferably Excel) and database software (such as Access) or programming languages (SQL and/or SAS)
  • Successful completion of 1 or more SOA Actuarial Exams (not including VEE)
