JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Analyze hospital, professional, and drug claims and utilization trends
  • Build and maintain data queries and automate analyses using SQL, R, or Python
  • Remote role; work within the Actuarial Department supporting decision makers
  • Requires 3–5+ years experience and ongoing progress toward actuarial exams

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Claims and utilization analysis (hospital, professional, drug)
  • Pricing and experience analysis for health products
  • Rate filings and valuation calculations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or related field required
  • 3+ years relevant professional actuarial/analytical experience required
  • Ongoing actuarial exam progress required (minimum one exam per year)
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python or similar required
  • Strong Excel skills and capability with data extraction, simulations, automation
