JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing, reserving, and regulatory filings for P&C programs
- Develop analytical queries, models, and reports using Python/R/SQL/SAS
- Partner with underwriting, finance, accounting, and reinsurance
- Hybrid role based in Austin, TX
- Requires a minimum of four actuarial exams and 5+ years P&C experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Property & casualty actuarial experience
- Pricing methodologies and ratemaking
- Rate, form, and underwriting guide filings
- Quarterly reserving analyses and financial reporting
- Reinsurance monitoring and renewal analyses
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of actuarial experience in property & casualty insurance
- Completion of a minimum of four actuarial exams
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Math, Stats, CS, or related
- Working knowledge of Python, R, SQL, or SAS
- Must be able to work in Austin, TX within a hybrid model
