You will perform rate and fee development, forecasting, filings, and reporting while supporting bids and proposals. The role is fully remote and based in Indianapolis, IN. SOA exam progression is required and supported through an actuarial student program.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing, rate and fee development for group benefits
- Prepare forecasting, filings, and periodic actuarial reports
- Assist underwriting and sales on bids, proposals, and rating
- Fully remote role based in Indianapolis, IN
- SOA exam progression required and supported through an actuarial student program
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial or underwriting experience
- Rate and fee development and analysis
- Insurance bureau filing and budgeting
- Group experience and subscriber analysis
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, or Statistics required
- Successful completion of one actuarial exam required
- 2+ years of actuarial or underwriting experience
- Programming exposure/experience required
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint)
