Perform statutory, GAAP and tax reserving and asset adequacy analyses
Gather and analyse mortality, morbidity, lapse and persistency experience
Work onsite in Phoenix, AZ reporting to the FP&A Manager
Must be pursuing SOA actuarial exams and proficient in Excel

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

Reserving on Statutory, GAAP, and Tax basis
Experience studies for mortality, morbidity, lapse and persistency
Asset adequacy analyses and gross premium valuation experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and actuarial software (MG-ALFA)
Familiarity with financial reporting systems (SAP) and policy systems

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, accounting, or finance
Active pursuit of Society of Actuaries exams (exam-writing student)
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
Experience with actuarial software MG-ALFA and SAP is required
Ability to multitask and work under extreme pressure
