Structured actuarial development programme

Closer to a structured student programme than a modelling-heavy role—the rotations and leadership development are more distinctive than any single technical specialism.

Entry-level Life actuarial analyst opportunity in MassMutual’s Actuarial Leadership Development Program, based in Boston or Springfield, Massachusetts. You’ll rotate across business and corporate units, build technical and industry knowledge, complete meaningful projects, and receive structured support toward an FSA career.

Requirements

Must have

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Strongly preferred

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field
  • Completion of 1 or more actuarial exams
  • Commitment to pursue Fellowship in the Society of Actuaries

Nice to have

  • Previous MassMutual Actuarial Intern experience
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
  • Demonstration of MassMutual's Winning Ways
