Responsibilities include GAAP/statutory reserving, pricing and product filings, AXIS-based asset modeling, and cross-functional project work. Hiring in Rosemont, IL for Analyst or Senior Analyst levels.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support life and annuity valuation on GAAP, statutory, and tax bases
- Assist product pricing, NGE rate setting, and actuarial memoranda for filings
- Build and run financial projection models and ALM/hedging support in AXIS
- Produce monthly management reporting and monitor product experience
- Participate in cross-functional projects and stakeholder management
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Life and annuity valuation and reserving
- Product pricing and non‑guaranteed elements analysis
- Asset-liability modelling and hedging support
- Financial projection and stress testing (ORSA support)
- Experience with actuarial software (AXIS, MG-ALFA, ARCVal)
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or related
- Proven ability to pass actuarial exams; Analyst: preferably 1 pass; Senior: preferably 2–3 passes
- Insurance actuarial experience: Analyst 0–2 years; Senior 1–5 years
- Demonstrated ability with actuarial software (e.g., AXIS, MG-ALFA, ARCVal)
