JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Work on Cash Balance / DB and 401(k) combo plans under 100 participants
  • Prepare ASC valuations, plan projections, and IRS testing (401a4, 410b, 401a26)
  • Prepare Form 5500s, Schedule SB, PBGC premiums and 8955-SSA filings
  • Remote-first role; must be available during local business hours
  • Requires 3+ years administering CB/DB/401(k) combo plans

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Administration of Cash Balance/Defined Benefit/401(k) combo plans
  • CB/401(k) combo plan cross-testing (401a4, 410b, 401a26)
  • ASC valuation system proficiency
  • Preparation of Form 5500s, Schedule SB, PBGC premium and 8955-SSA
  • Plan termination and PBGC calculations

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience with CB/DB/401(k) combo plan administration
  • Proficient in CB/401k combo cross-testing
  • Proficient with ASC valuation system (Relius/FT Williams/Datair experience considered)
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to manage client relationships and work independently
