JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Perform semi-annual reserve reviews and support actuarial opinion preparation
- Prepare Schedule P and reconcile statutory reporting annually
- Produce monthly/quarterly actual vs. expected and financial reporting analyses
- Support IFRS 17 reporting and perform ad-hoc actuarial analyses
- Hybrid role based in Morristown, NJ on the Corporate Actuarial team
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Loss reserving and reserve reviews
- Schedule P preparation and reconciliation
- IFRS 17 reporting support
- Monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting analyses
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of 1 year actuarial experience (college graduates with internships considered)
- Successful completion of at least 1 actuarial exam (2 preferred)
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel; SQL knowledge preferred
