JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support Medicare D-SNP valuation and reserving for Blue Cross NC
- Perform experience studies, statistical analyses, and premium calculations
- Execute ALR model, UCL calculations, and validate actuarial model results
- Prepare and transmit rate filings to NCDOI and CMS
- Associate-level role; participant in Actuarial Development Program
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Medicare product valuation and reserving
- Experience studies and statistical analyses
- Rate filings and regulatory submissions to NCDOI and CMS
- Data retrieval and validation for actuarial models and reports
- Execution and verification of ALR model and UCL calculation
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's degree (required)
- 2+ years of relevant actuarial experience
- At least 3 actuarial exams passed toward ASA
- Experience executing valuation/reserving models and data validation
- Familiarity with regulatory filings to NCDOI and CMS
