Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst supporting Financial & Professional lines (Cyber, D&O, E&O, EPL) in Chicago or remote. You will build and maintain pricing models, run profitability and rate adequacy studies, support reinsurance and delegated authority oversight, and partner with underwriting. The role sits on the Insurance Pricing Team reporting to the Senior Pricing Actuary, Financial & Professional Lines.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Support pricing for Cyber, D&O, E&O and Employment Practices Liability
- Build and maintain pricing models and run rate adequacy studies
- Partner closely with underwriting and support delegated authority oversight
- Preferred scripting/programming in R and SQL; Excel VBA is a plus
- Flexible work options with remote and in-office arrangements

- Directors & Officers liability analytics
- Errors & Omissions (professional liability) analysis
- Delegated authority oversight for specialty lines
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, CS, or equivalent experience
- 0–3 years of actuarial experience; new graduates encouraged to apply
- Ability to build pricing models and perform profitability/rate adequacy studies
