Are you a new college graduate that has decided to pursue the Actuarial field? Have you taken and passed at least 1 actuarial exam? We are looking for you to join our P&C Farm Pricing Actuarial team! This is a great opportunity to work with a collaborative and supportive team and grow your technical skills and knowledge of actuarial concepts.

This position is located in Glenmont, NY and Springfield, MO.

What You'll Do:

• Learn fundamental actuarial principles that the Actuarial Analyst I applies in analyzing company and industry data to prepare actuarial analyses, in accordance with the "CAS Code of Professional Conduct" and the Actuarial Standards of Practice
• Prepare summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to home office and field management, other American National departments, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators
• Learn processes and begin to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately
• Learn and begin to use spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in actuarial analyses
• Prepare for and progress in the FCAS examinations through on-the-job and home study

Required Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required
• Successful completion of 1 actuarial exam

Salary for this position can range from $52143.00 for candidates who are minimally qualified through $78214.50 for more highly qualified candidates. Candidates outside of the range are encouraged to apply, and will be considered based on experience, skill and education.
