JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support healthcare analytics, benefit pricing, and IBNR reserving for public employee plans
  • Build and defend reports using Excel, SQL, and Tableau; VBA experience preferred
  • Respond to underwriting RFPs and assist underwriting/data analytics tasks
  • Role available at Analyst I–III levels with specified SOA exam requirements
  • Hybrid work model: remote most days (9 of every 10 workdays)

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Healthcare analytics and underwriting support
  • IBNR reserving for large agencies
  • Benefit pricing using templates or adjuster models
  • Reporting and data reconciliation using Excel, SQL, Tableau

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Passed at least 1 SOA exam (Actuarial Analyst I) with higher counts required for II/III
  • At least 3 SOA exams passed and 1 year actuarial experience for Analyst II
  • At least 5 SOA exams passed and 2 years actuarial experience for Analyst III
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ability to trace complex models
  • Practical SQL skills and experience creating reports in Tableau
