Associate-level Life actuarial role in Portland, OR, supporting ceded reinsurance for Group Life, AD&D, and Long Term Disability. You’ll perform monthly claims valuation, billing, reimbursement tracking, reconciliations, and financial reporting while applying treaty provisions and improving automated processes.

Must have
Associate's degree required
Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be bondable
Strongly preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with data, calculation systems, or reporting tools
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Ability to investigate discrepancies, reconcile data, and interpret business rules or contract provisions
Comfortable working with automated processes and technical tools
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
Nice to have
