JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Build and apply mathematical ratemaking and reserving models
  • Support state regulatory filings and respond to DOI/auditor inquiries
  • Hybrid role with periodic in-office attendance in Michigan
  • Ideal for candidates with ~1.5–2 years actuarial experience and 2+ exams passed

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • rate reviews and competitive rate analysis
  • trend, classification, inflation, and tail factor analyses

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Statistics or related field
  • Minimum ~18 months actuarial experience in an actuarial environment
  • Successful completion of two or more actuarial examinations
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and statistical software tools
  • Maintain eligibility in the Actuarial Professional Development Program
