Associate-level health actuarial pricing role on the Commercial Actuarial Pricing Modeling Team in Indianapolis, IN (hybrid). You will develop, validate, and maintain the commercial medical and pharmacy relativity model (AMEBA), perform advanced data and statistical analyses, and partner with pricing, underwriting and product teams. Requires a BA/BS, minimum four SOA exams passed, and 3+ years of related experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Maintain and enhance the commercial medical and pharmacy relativity model (AMEBA)
- Perform advanced data analysis, statistical modelling, and model validation
- Partner with Commercial Pricing, Underwriting, Product, and Rating Systems
- Drive automation and process improvements to scale modelling workflows
- Hybrid role – in-office 1–2 days per week in Indianapolis, IN
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Commercial medical and pharmacy pricing
- Healthcare pricing, underwriting, or actuarial modeling
- Advanced Excel proficiency and VBA automation
- Data extraction and manipulation with SAS/SQL/R/Python
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- BA/BS degree required
- Minimum of four SOA actuarial exams passed
- At least 3 years of related actuarial experience
- Advanced Excel proficiency required
