We are seeking a talented Actuarial Analyst III to join our collaborative team and work on exciting, challenging projects to shape the future of our company.
What You'll Do
• Apply fundamental actuarial principles in analyzing company and industry data to prepare actuarial analyses.
• Prepare and present summaries of actuarial analyses for distribution to home office and field management, other American National departments, consultants, reinsurers, and regulators.
• Complete processes to perform and document actuarial analyses promptly and accurately.
• Train less experienced analysts with spreadsheets, databases, and sources of data used in actuarial analyses.
• Prepare for and progress in the CAS examinations through on-the-job and home study.
What You'll Need
• A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background.
• The ability to demonstrate sufficient progress in understanding and applying basic actuarial principles.
• 3 or more actuarial exams passed.
• A minimum of 2 years of related actuarial or data analysis experience.
• Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) experience.
What Will Set You Apart
• Prior experience with Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, SQL or Python strongly preferred.
• P&C pricing experience preferred.
Salary range is posted from $78,000.00 -$108,000.00
