Actuarial Analyst supporting mortality and morbidity research for Milliman IntelliScript's Irix product. You will analyze prescription and medical claims, support mortality studies, build study outputs and dashboards, and translate findings into product improvements and client deliverables. Remote role with occasional travel to Milliman's Brookfield, WI office and nationwide events.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support mortality studies and analysis of prescription and medical claims
  • Build reports, dashboards, databases, and client-facing deliverables
  • Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and software teams on models
  • Use SQL and Excel; Power BI required; familiarity with R, Python, Databricks
  • Remote role; must travel to Brookfield, WI and nationwide as needed

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Prescription and medical claims data analysis
  • Understanding of underwriting and mortality/morbidity drivers
  • Analytical experience in actuarial, data science, or product R&D
  • Experience delivering client-facing analytical products

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or quantitative field
  • 1+ years experience in analytics, actuarial science, data science, or R&D
  • Experience working with prescription and medical claims data
  • Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
  • Experience with Power BI or a similar visualization tool
