JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Internship supporting actuarial loss reserving and unpaid claims estimation
- Work with data using Excel, SQL, R, Python, or VBA
- Support quarterly financial reporting and ERM/ORSA projects
- Present analytic findings to leadership and collaborate with Finance and Claims
- Based in Dallas, TX at a specialty P&C (E&S) insurer
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Actuarial reserving analyses
- Quarterly financial reporting support
- Data extraction and manipulation with SQL/R/Python/VBA
- Familiarity with property and casualty insurance concepts
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Successful completion of at least one actuarial exam
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
