Closer to a pricing and underwriting partnership role than a reserving cycle role—the ad emphasizes live profitability and portfolio decisions rather than quarter-end reporting.

Entry-level P&C actuarial pricing role supporting portfolio management and regulatory filings across multiple product lines in the United States. You’ll maintain pricing tools, analyze profitability and performance, and partner with underwriting, claims, and management.

Requirements

Strongly preferred

Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related quantitative field
Commitment to pursuing ACAS designation
2+ years of relevant experience (professional, internship, academic, or analytical)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to communicate analytical results clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple assignments and work independently and collaboratively
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice to have

Experience or coursework in P&C insurance, actuarial science, pricing, underwriting, or claims
Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Power BI, or similar analytical tools
Knowledge of current insurance trends and P&C insurance operations
