Pricing partner to underwriting

Closer to a pricing-underwriting partner than a modelling-heavy IC—the cross-functional business emphasis outweighs pure model ownership.

Entry-level remote US P&C pricing role supporting pricing, portfolio management, rate filings, and regulatory work across multiple insurance products. You’ll analyze profitability and performance, maintain pricing tools, and partner with underwriting and claims teams. The role suits candidates with at least two years of relevant experience who are pursuing ACAS.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, data science, finance, or another quantitative discipline
  • At least 2 years of relevant professional, internship, academic, or analytical experience

Strongly preferred

  • Commitment to pursuing the ACAS designation
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Nice to have

  • Experience or coursework involving P&C insurance, actuarial science, pricing, underwriting, claims, or insurance operations is preferred
  • Working knowledge of SQL, R, Python, Power BI, or comparable analytical tools is a plus
