HIGHLIGHTS

Associate-level P&C actuarial analyst supporting pricing operations and portfolio management for a specialty re/insurance company in Hartford, CT (flexible/remote options). The role reports to the Head of Pricing Operations & Strategy and suits candidates pursuing CAS credentials.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Support pricing operations and portfolio management for the Insurance Pricing Team
  • Maintain and integrate pricing models, collect and validate pricing data
  • Build and steward portfolio management dashboards and pricing metrics
  • Hands-on coding required: R and SQL mandatory; Git familiarity required
  • Hybrid preference: 2–3 days/week in West Hartford office; flexible location

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • 1–4 years of actuarial experience (new grads with relevant credits encouraged)

  • Basic familiarity with Git and GitHub required
  • Desire to pursue CAS actuarial credential required (employer support provided)
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
