JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Lead research projects and write actuarial research papers for workers' compensation
  • Extract, clean and analyze data; identify and resolve data anomalies
  • Prepare exhibits and present findings to industry stakeholders
  • Hybrid role — in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (New York, NY)
  • Programming experience required; familiarity with SAS preferred

  • data and statistical analysis
  • familiarity with SAS

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • College degree in mathematics, statistics or related field
  • Minimum of 4 CAS examinations completed
  • Strong data and statistical analysis skills (statistical models familiarity)
  • Programming experience required; SAS familiarity preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and database programs
