Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in Gallagher Re’s 24-month REACH program in Chicago, supporting multi-line reinsurance broking and risk management. You’ll work with large datasets, develop pricing and actuarial benchmark models, and analyze proposals for client meetings. The hybrid role includes structured training, executive access, mentoring, and CAS exam support.
Requirements
Must have
- Passed a minimum of one actuarial exam
Strongly preferred
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Actuarial Science, Math, Economics, Finance)
- Intent to pursue ACAS/FCAS designation
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, macros, statistical modeling)
- Strong technological proficiency with various software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL 5 times for training
Nice to have
- Previous internship or work experience in a related field
- Knowledge of or curiosity about reinsurance broking and risk management
