Entry-level P&C actuarial analyst role in Gallagher Re’s 24-month REACH program, based in Walnut Creek, California. You’ll work in multi-line reinsurance broking and risk management, using large datasets, Excel, pricing models, and financial modelling to support proposals and client meetings. The role is hybrid and includes structured training and actuarial exam support.

Requirements

Must have

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or related field
  • Passed a minimum of one actuarial exam
  • Intent to pursue an actuarial designation, ACAS/FCAS, from the Casualty Actuarial Society
  • Advanced Excel skills: formulas, pivot tables, macros, conditional formatting, statistical modeling
  • Strong technological proficiency with various software
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexibility to travel to Rolling Meadows, IL five times for training (expenses covered)

Nice to have

  • Previous internship or work experience in a related field
  • Knowledge of or curiosity about the reinsurance broking and risk management industry
