P&C reserving-focused Actuarial Analyst role supporting Corporate Actuarial in Worcester, MA (or remote). You will perform quarterly loss and DCCE reserve reviews, ULAE reviews, forecast ex‑cat loss and ALAE ratios, and present findings to executive leadership while partnering with underwriting, claims, finance and accounting.

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Perform quarterly loss and DCCE reserve reviews and ULAE analysis
  • Forecast ex‑cat loss and ALAE ratios for the corporate financial plan
  • Automate and debug processes using SQL and VBA
  • Collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance and present to execs
  • Flexible work arrangement: Worcester HQ or remote work location

DOMAIN EXPERTISE

  • Casualty reserving analysis
  • Loss and DCCE reserves review
  • ULAE reserve review
  • Forecasting ex‑cat loss and ALAE ratios
  • SQL and VBA process automation

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • One or more Casualty actuarial exams completed
  • Programming skills in SQL and VBA for automation
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
