JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

  • Develop and apply actuarial models for pricing and forecasting in health engagements
  • Analyze complex healthcare data and produce client-ready reports
  • Work onsite full-time from Milliman's Seattle, WA office
  • Pursue actuarial exams (minimum 1 SOA exam passed required; 2+ preferred)
  • Mentor program and professional development within a consulting practice

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in math, statistics, actuarial science, economics, or related field
  • Up to 4 years of healthcare actuarial experience (role accepts early-career analysts)
  • Passed a minimum of 1 SOA exam (2+ preferred)
  • Proven proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SAS, SQL, R, Python, Power BI is a plus
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and work onsite in Seattle
