You will deliver actuarial analyses, develop models and reports, support budgeting and finance, and manage complex projects while partnering across the business. Position is US-based (location unspecified) and reports to the Manager, Actuarial Services.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Senior actuarial analyst focusing on health reserves, pricing and forecasting
- Support budgeting, accruals and regulatory/financial reporting (MCR, ROI)
- Build ad hoc reports and data extractions; improve process automation
- Requires advanced Excel, SAS and programming/coding skills
- Reports to Manager-Actuarial Services; 5 years actuarial or related experience
DOMAIN EXPERTISE

- budget development and financial accruals
- regulatory and financial reporting (MCR, ROI)
- SAS and data extraction/query experience
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of actuarial or related experience
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred
- Advanced Excel, SAS and programming/coding experience required
- Expert understanding of health care concepts and products required
