JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead corporate reserving analyses for Munich Re's US P&C reinsurance portfolio
- Contribute to quarterly/annual closings and regulatory reporting (IFRS17, GAAP, Statutory)
- Prepare data, document assumptions, and present results to internal and external stakeholders
- Senior individual contributor role based in Princeton, NJ (NYC also considered)
- Suitable for actuarial students with 2+ exams passed preparing for further exams
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- Non-life reserving experience
- Reserving for varied coverages and contract structures
- Experience in (re)insurance actuarial work
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of (re)insurance or actuarial experience
- Passed at least two actuarial exams
- Experience performing loss reserve analyses for non-life business
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills
