JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
- Lead loss reserve analyses and quarterly/annual reserving close for P&C reinsurance
- Quantify reserve uncertainty and contribute to IFRS17, Solvency II, GAAP and Statutory reporting
- Prepare data, document assumptions, and present results to internal and external stakeholders
- Senior individual contributor with 2+ years (re)insurance/actuarial experience
- Role based in Princeton, NJ (also open to NYC candidates); salary $88,400–$140,900
DOMAIN EXPERTISE
- P&C reserving experience for various coverages and contract structures
- Reinsurance reserving experience
- Data preparation and actuarial analysis for reserving
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- 2+ years of (re)insurance or actuarial experience
- Passed at least two actuarial exams
- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field required
- Practical reserving experience for P&C/reinsurance contracts
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills for data preparation and analysis
