Senior Health actuarial role in Oakland, California, supporting Medicare Advantage bid tools and bid strategy. You’ll work mainly in Excel, with SQL or VBA for deeper data analysis, while applying CMS and bid-process expertise to pricing, product evaluations, valuation, financial risk, and actuarial documentation.
Requirements
Must have
- Minimum eight (8) years actuarial experience
- Strong background in Medicare Advantage bid process and CMS regulations
Strongly preferred
- Bachelors degree in mathematics or related field
- Associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society Certificate OR Associate of the Society of Actuaries Certificate
- Two (2) years experience in a leadership role with or without direct reports
- Six (6) years experience with databases and spreadsheets
Nice to have
- Proficiency in SQL or VBA
